Creates a RAID 5.

Parameters

{free_space}

—Device and its associated available space used

to create the array.

{device_ID}

—One or more devices whose available space to

use to create the array.

Switches

/cache

—Specifies whether to enable the array’s cache.

/stripe_size

—Stripe size for the array (only applies to

RAID 5).

/clear

—Specifies whether to clear the entire array during

initialization.

/label

—Label to assign to the newly created array.

/quick_init

—Specifies to use the Quick Init process, making

the array available immediately.

/scrub

—Specifies whether to set up the parity by building.

/wait

— If FAL SE (the default), the operation is performed in the

background and the command prompt is returned immediately.

If TRUE, the operation is performed immediately and the

command prompt is returned only when done.
