Creating an Image or Scheduling a Task

After you have created a QuickImage definition, you can either create the image

immediately or choose to schedule the task at a later time.

IMPORTANT!

QuickImage uses the Task Scheduler feature in Windows. Therefore, if

you did not install Task Scheduler when you installed Windows, the

Schedule task button and the Scheduled Task command on the View

menu are disabled.

At the QuickImage main screen, click Create Image to create the image immediately

or click Schedule Task to schedule the task at a later time.

If you select Create Image, you will receive a prompt that QuickImage need to boot

to DOS. Click OK. QuickImage reboots your computer using PowerQuest virtual

floppy technology and creates the image.

If you select Schedule Task, the Image Creation Schedule dialog box appears.

If you want to create more than one backup schedule, make sure Show multiple

schedules is selected on the Schedule tab.
